Coach JJ Mosher has been a dedicated leader in the flag football community for over 20 years, traveling across the United States to play, compete, and promote the sport. His lifelong passion for competition and mentorship has made him a respected figure in the development of both football and flag football athletes.
Currently, Coach JJ serves as an Assistant Coach, Scout, Recruiter, and Athlete Development Coach for Norco College Women’s Flag Football, where he plays a key role in identifying talent, recruiting student-athletes, and maximizing their athletic performance. He was part of the historic inaugural 2025 season of women’s flag football in the California Community College system—currently a fast-growing club sport that is on the path toward official sanctioning. His contributions have been instrumental in spearheading the growth of the sport in the region.
In addition to his work at Norco College, Coach JJ also coaches the Varsity Boys’ Football Team at Martin Luther King High School, where he continues to mentor and develop young athletes at the high school level. His coaching at both the high school and college level highlights his versatility, credibility, and dedication to advancing the game.
Beyond the field, Coach JJ operates his own athletic performance training program, working with athletes of all ages and competitive levels. His training focuses on football and flag football development with specialized expertise in speed, agility, power, explosiveness, and overall athletic performance. Many of his athletes have gone on to excel at higher levels, crediting his training for preparing them to meet the physical and mental demands of competition.
What sets Coach JJ apart is his dual identity as both a competitor and a mentor. Having competed at a high level himself, he brings invaluable insight into what it takes to succeed while also instilling discipline, resilience, and leadership in his athletes. His passion and experience make him an essential part of Norco College’s women’s flag football program and a respected leader in the Inland Empire football community.
